Attendees: WM Jim Rowe, Bros: John Glazier, Mark Goodwin, Ernie Jenner, Ronald Woods, Kenny Cason and Jonathan Seaton (Absent: Richard Tobian and Don Trombley,).

 

1.    Bro Gary Schwartz requested that he be able to hang light bars from the ceiling for Unity Theatre to reduce the load on our power and clean up the floor from extension cords. Gary will repair the ceiling when lights are removed. Approved by unanimous vote.

 

2.    Neon Sign: The Sign Factory gave us the best bid for repair at $85/hr counting travel time and $110-$170 for transformer if necessary. If it needs tube work it is $80. They will take it to their shop and then re-install. Total not to exceed $500 without prior approval. Approved by unanimous vote to have the Sign Factory repair neon sign.

 

3.    Unity Lodge will pay the sum of $150 per month or $1800 per year, payable in January, to the Unity Lodge Temple Corporation for Lodge rental. Approved by unanimous vote.

    

4.    Temple corporation discussed a cash reserve for emergency maintenance and decided we should keep $2500 in the account (which is the approximate cost to replace one of the big windows downstairs) for emergencies. All monies above this will be turned over to the Lodge at the end of the year.

 

5.    Ernie Jenner and John Glazier are co-ordinating getting a scissor lift to inspect and repair if possible outside of windows on the North wall before we commit to any replacement or repair of the whole windows.    Respectfully, Ronald Woods, Secretary
